Since shampooing every day can really dry out your hair, my stylist Andrew Fitzsimons and I came up with a few styles that work best with unwashed hair. I usually wear freshly washed hair down after a blow out, but for the days in-between, I usually put it up and avoid using a blow-dryer or curling iron. To help you re-create my perfectly tousled high ponytail, follow Andrew's steps below—and stay tuned for more hair styling tips!
Step 1: Start out with the magic, lifesaving product for next-day-hair: dry shampoo!!! Lightly spray your roots and the middle section of your hair.
Step 2: Put your hair up into a high pony. The key to the "undone look" is to use your fingers, as opposed to using a comb or brush. When it's up, add a couple of drops of hair oil to the ponytail to separate the ends and add a healthy shine that the dry shampoo may have dulled.
Step 3: Lightly tease the base of the ponytail with a tail comb for extra volume and set the whole thing with Kardashian Beauty Pure Glitz Hairspray, pulling out random baby hairs for a slightly messy look.
That's all you need to do to turn your day-old hair into a badass high pony! Shop the products below!
